Programs
These are some simple scripts/programs I have written over time. All programs are released under BSD license and come with absolutely no warranty (hence forth BSD license).

Please don't judge my programming abilities by the contents
of these pages. Most of these scripts are thrown together to
solve a specific problem for a specific time. I.E., some of them
are less then polished, lack proper error checking, etc.

Basically, feel free to use them "AS IS"

Perl Scripts:

• A backup script supporting daily,weekly and monthly backups along with email reporting

Bash Scripts:

• A simple backup/ftp away script
• Simple processes monitoring script

Python Scripts:

• Script that emails when files are added to an ftp server (I use this to monitor my slackware boxes for new patches)
• Control script for RCA satellite receiver (change channels via the serial port)
